City: Sacramento Price Range: Inexpensive Cuisine: American Special Features: Good for Groups, Kid-Friendly, Late-Night Dining, Lunch, Outdoor Dining, Take-Out Suzie Burger—an old Sacramento burger joint—has been renovated and returned thanks to the same people who brought us Bistro 33 and Riverside Clubhouse. The new Suzie Burger, on 29th and P streets, have cheese steaks, hot dogs and hoagies, and of course the Suzie Burger. The burger is manageable versus enormous and has plenty of flavor with its special Suzie sauce and a “side-kick” of pickles and carrots. Try the lemon squeezie, a hand shaken lemonade; and for dessert a soft serve cone dipped in chocolate. Suzie’s has a carhop 1950s feel to it, but sadly, no roller skating waitresses. But if you call ahead, they will deliver your order to your car. Cindy Arora
