At Dragonfly, it’s not surprising that the two dominant colors are red and black. In the Eastern philosophy of feng shui, the color red symbolizes creativity and luxury while black stands for sophistication and depth. The creators of this restaurant have managed to harmonize all of these characteristics together to create an intimate place with food that has substance. Although Japanese food may appear to be the focal point at Dragonfly, take a closer look and see the Indian, Korean, Chinese, Mexican and California cuisines fused together to create imaginative dishes. There is the salmon linguini prepared in a wok, Korean barbecue short ribs and the Dragonfly burger served with tempura onion rings. Check out the Asian-style tapas: Peking duck buns and Indian inspired samosas. And for lunch, Chinese and Japanese comfort foods are served such as chow fun noodles and bento boxes with grilled beef teriyaki. Cindy Arora
